Graduation Ceremony of the third cohort from the vocational qualification in childcare

Amaan Training Center, one of Wataneya Society's projects celebrated the graduation of the third cohort from the vocational qualification, the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East accredited by Pearson.The graduation ceremony was held on Monday, May 23rd at the National Training Institute in Nasr City. Guest of Honor for the event was Dr. Ali Awni, ‎Executive Director at John D. Gerhart Center at the American University in Cairo. The event featured different services of Amaan Training Center.

Honoring Winners of Beet El Helm Award for best Institutional Homes

Wataneya Society for the Development of Orphanages in collaboration with MBC CSR (MBC Hope) and Drosos Foundation honored the winners of Beet El Helm Award for best Institutional homes in Egypt 2015-2016. H.E Ghada Wali, Minister of Social Solidarity attended Beet El Helm Ceremony that was held on Monday, April 18th at Ramses Hilton. The Award is classified into 5 categories.

Launching Hamzet Wasl Program

Amaan Training Center, one of Wataneya's project launched Hamzet Wasl Program for Rehabilitation and employment of fresh graduates to qualify the quality of caregivers in institutional homes. The program links between theoretical knowledge and practical training. At the end of the training program, top 20 trainees will be employed as caregivers in institutional homes.

Wataneya Society registered under the Ministry of Social Solidarity since 2008, aims to provide a safe and healthy environment for children and youth without parental care to ensure the "quality of life for every orphan".
